Founding Director

Nqobile Gumbi

Nqobile Gumbi is the Founding Director of N GUMBI AND ASSOCIATES. He is an admitted attorney of the High Court and is responsible for steering the firm towards success. 

Qualifications: Bachelor of Laws and Post Graduate Diploma in Maritime Studies (UKZN)

Professional Certificates:

  • Admitted as an Attorney of the High Court with a Right of Appearance at all Courts
  • Registered Assessor (TETA)
  • Advanced Advocacy Trial Training.

Legal Assistant

Smanga Khulu

Smanga Khumalo is a legal assistant at N GUMBI AND ASSOCIATES. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree, which he obtained from the University of South Africa (Unisa) in 2021. Before joining us, Smanga worked as an exam invigilator at the Department of Education, where he was responsible for administrative duties. He will soon be registered as our Candidate Legal Practitioner and is eager to acquire practical legal skills and contribute to the advancement of justice in his broader community.

Administrative Assistant

Vusi Cele

Vusi Cele is our administrative assistant. He is currently in his penultimate year of his Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of South Africa (Unisa) and has maintained a second-class upper grade throughout his studies.
